The Disaster Survival School expresses our solidarity with the residents of California, who have withstood massive flooding for weeks. Like much of the South, a lack of preparedness and infrastructure has led to death and destruction in many parts of the state.
DSS also expresses its solidarity with the people of Buffalo, N.Y., where a ‘bomb cyclone’ blizzard led to more than 30 deaths, and with everyone who has struggled with the effects of capitalist-driven climate change during this season.
